The virtual meeting will consist of a pre-recorded video presentation and will include both audio and visual components. The presentation will be posted online by Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. CT.
Following the virtual public meeting, the presentation will remain available until at least Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, at 5 p.m. CT. If you do not have internet access, you may call 956-477-0707 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the project development process.

In-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the online public meeting which will be playing on a screen, review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of Webb County-City of Laredo Regional Mobility Authority (WC-CL RMA) consultants and TxDOT staff, and leave written comments.
The Vallecillo Road project is a new location east-west roadway situated about a mile and a half north of IH 69 West and aligned with A.F. Muller Boulevard, directly connecting FM 1472 (Mines Road) with IH 35. Plans call for a 150-foot-wide right-of-way for a total of 74.46 acres of new right-of-way. The project would be approximately 2.85 miles in length and consist of four (4) travel lanes, two (2) in each direction, and will have a raised concrete median in the center. The plans also include sidewalks and a shared-use path for pedestrians and cyclists.
The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional right of way and potentially displace no residences and one (1) commercial structure. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction can be obtained from the WC-CL RMA by calling 956-477-0707.
The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
