At the request of the City of Laredo, the WC-CL RMA will lead the design and construction of a new location 1.3-mile, two-lane roadway extension from Los Presidentes to Wormser Road/ Lomas Del Sur. The RMA will also provide $1M in Category 12-Strategic Partnership funds in support of the project. The project will provide a parallel route to Cuatro Vientos and additional access to the under-construction Laredo Sports Complex and Municipal Water Park. The total project cost that includes engineering, construction engineering and inspection is estimated at $5.0M and design is scheduled to begin in 2023.
